Online Facilitation Skills: Leading Virtual Teams productively

COVID 19 has compelled the world to adapt and adjust to a new normal which not only presents new challenges but also opportunities particularly for learning and skills development.  With technology rapidly evolving, facilitators and trainers have a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to people’s virtual experience, making meetings more inclusive, more effective and more fun! The ability to lead and facilitate virtual meetings has become a fact of life for many employees and managers today. With many organizations spread across multiple geographical locations, there is need to establish rapid contact with each other and run efficient working processes with team members who are spread around the world, without surrendering quality. Most organizations have invested heavily in cost-effective virtual meeting systems. The question is, are we maximizing on these resources?

We invite you to register for our ‘Online Facilitation Skills Course:Leading Virtual Teams Productively‘ where participants will gain knowledge and skills on; how to adjust to the new normal effectively during COVID 19 and beyond, how to design and deliver interactive and engaging online events and supporting people in knowledge and experience sharing whilst paying attention to issues of diversity, inclusion and power.

The course will comprise of eight sessions [two hours each] that will be delivered from August 25 – September 17, 2020.

The slots are only limited to 20 participants both male and female to ensure high levels of interaction and personal attention.

African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD) designs and delivers customized learning experiences that build the leadership, mentoring, scientific research, and technical gender skills of Africa’s agricultural research workforce and decision makers. The Online Facilitation Skills Course is one of the many courses offered under the AWARD Training initiative.
