With over 25 years of experience, Ms. Andikuza Litete-Makhumula works at the intersection of agrifood systems development, gender equality, and sustainable livelihoods. She designs and implements inclusive agribusiness initiatives that empower women, strengthen value chains, and enhance food security. Using policy development and systems-based approaches, she addresses barriers to women's participation and leadership. Engaging development partners, civil society, and the private sector, Andikuza promotes gender-responsive strategies that boost productivity and market access. She champions women's economic empowerment by supporting women-led enterprises, linking producers to high-value markets, and building climate-resilient food systems through community-driven interventions.
Through the Fellowship, I hope to enhance my leadership and technical skills to scale innovative agribusiness solutions. Ultimately, my goal is to contribute to more resilient, equitable, and market-driven agrifood systems that create sustainable livelihoods for women and their communities
