African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD), AGRA and the conference co-organizers, will be hosting a special breakfast meeting on the sidelines of the 2025 CGIAR GENDER Conference, ‘Walking the Talk: Intensifying Investments Towards Equitable Agrifood Systems’. The session, aligned with the conference focus on ‘Driving Solutions through Evidence and Learning’, will be anchored on recent evidence from the ‘Status of Women in Agrifood Systems in sub-Saharan Africa report’ which underscores that achieving gender equality is an effective policy choice.
