Wore Deele is training to be an environmental engineer specialising in sustainable resource management and the fight against climate change. She works with EFES as a field agent, contributing to both community initiatives and technical projects. Her work focuses on improving access to safe drinking water and promoting renewable energy in Cameroon’s Far North Region. Currently, she is developing a terracotta water filter for rural households and piloting an ecological coal and biochar project. Passionate about inclusivity, Wore integrates gender perspectives into her work by equipping women and young people with sustainable skills for resilient communities.
