Léa Rosine is a soil ecologist specializing in agronomy and agri-food systems. Her research examines microarthropod dynamics in tropical agroecological zones, focusing on Cameroon’s Guinean savannah. She explores how agricultural practices, including chemical fertilizers and organic amendments, shape the diversity and abundance of these key soil organisms. Her doctoral work demonstrated that organic soil improvers enhance fertility and resilience. She is currently working with a German organization to advance regenerative farming approaches, integrating compost, biochar, and agroforestry, to foster sustainable, climate-smart, and inclusive agriculture supporting productivity and ecosystem health.
