Elizabeth Ahikiriza
Uganda
2025 Dr. Elizabeth Ahikiriza is a Lecturer and Researcher at Makerere University, specializing in farm management, with expertise in efficiency analysis, agricultural productivity, technology adoption, and sustainable agriculture. Her recent research interests include climate change financing, the impact of artificial intelligence on agriculture, and energy economic modeling. She has published in internationally recognized journals and studied gender yield gaps, food labeling, and rural development. Currently, she is promoting biogas technology to support milk cooling in off-grid cattle communities in Uganda and exploring financial literacy as a tool to boost productivity. She is passionate about proposal writing and student mentorship.
