2025 Dr. Claire d’André Hirwa is a Senior Research Fellow at the Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board (RAB), specializing in livestock production and animal health. With over 13 years of experience, she leads applied research on genetic improvement and conservation of indigenous livestock, including cattle, chickens, pigs, and rabbits. Claire has authored 50+ peer-reviewed publications, produced 60+ extension materials, and contributed to key national agricultural strategies.
