Masca Uwamariya
Rwanda
2025 Ms. Masca Uwamariya is an agricultural extension specialist with over five years of experience promoting sustainable farming practices and community empowerment. She holds an MSc in Agricultural Extension and a Bachelor's in Crop Sciences. Currently serving as a Cell Community Extension Officer with ARCOS Network, she supports the MuLaKiLa project, which enhances biodiversity conservation and natural resource management. Masca works closely with farmers to integrate agroforestry, terracing, and community groups into farming systems, benefiting over 600 farmers. Her efforts foster climate resilience, improve agricultural productivity, and protect Rwanda’s unique ecological landscape.
