Dr. Ibukun Oluseyi Oyeleye is a forester and wood science researcher advancing sustainable material development and promoting gender equality in agricultural education. Holding a Bachelor’s and master’s in Forestry and Wood Technology from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, her research focuses on thermal wood modification, bio-composites, and cement-bonded boards, contributing to Nigeria’s applied forestry science. Through career awareness campaigns, mentorship programs, and curriculum advocacy, she fosters gender-sensitive learning environments and leadership opportunities for women. As a lecturer and researcher, she collaborates with academic institutions and student groups to drive inclusive policies and female-led research. Ibukun’s long-term vision is to shape gender-inclusive policies in agricultural education and natural resource management across Nigeria and beyond.
