Ms. Apla Afi Evamé is an agricultural entrepreneur with a background in Human Resources Management and International Trade. In 2019, she founded the Mawouena Research and Production Center (Centre de Recherche et de Production Mawouena, CRPM). As Technical Director of COOP-CA Las Béguinas Dumenyo Lumen (LBDL), she trains smallholders in processing red oil and palm kernel soap. With support from partners, she initiated beekeeping groups across four villages and leads reforestation efforts with over 12,000 trees planted. She also collaborates with the Network of Young Agricultural Producers and Professionals of Togo to advance sustainable agriculture in the Maritime Region.
