Dr. Kissi Abravi Essenam is an environmentalist with expertise in climate change, disaster risk management, and strategic planning. Since 2015, she has led monitoring, evaluation, and environmental, social, and climate protection efforts at Togo’s Ministry of Agriculture. Holding a PhD in climate change, she integrates climate, gender, and social dimensions into agricultural policies and projects. Dr. Essenam has shaped key national strategies, including climate adaptation plans and food systems transformation roadmaps. She has extensive knowledge in international safeguard standards (World Bank, ADB), results-based M&E, and ecosystem-based adaptation.
