Mutambala Musonda
Zambia
2024
Musonda coordinates the development and implementation of livestock development programs to increase livestock production and productivity across 12 Districts in Zambia. His key result areas are effectively coordinating the implementation of improved ruminant, poultry, and pig production, pasture and range management technologies to enhance livestock nutrition and promote climate change, livestock delivery extension systems, and timely dissemination of livestock information and technologies.
The livestock sector has been dominated by men, which is why I want to gain the relevant skills from the GRASP Fellowship to enable gender-responsive access to livestock extension services in Zambia.
Area of Focus
Implementation of gender-responsive agricultural extension services.
