Teklah supports the Programs Unit in planning and implementation of programs and activities related to initiatives led by AWARD. She has over 9 years of experience in project planning, implementation, and reporting. Before joining AWARD, she served as the Project Officer for the inspiring Women’s Space Project at Mazingira Institute. Teklah holds a Master’s degree in M&E from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Moi University, and a Diploma in Projects Management from Kenya Institute of Management. She is also a member of The Project Management Institute (PMI), a professional project management body where she embarks on her journey toward becoming a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). With a deep-seated belief in evidence-based programming and resource mobilization, Teklah is resolute in her commitment to driving impactful change.
