Chamba has more than 16 years of experience in vegetation surveys, specifically in forest inventories and management. She specializes in environmental management and development studies, with a focus on environmental impact assessments and socio-economic studies. Chamba has also been involved in ecology studies, and many community-based natural resource management projects. She lectures on environmental impact assessment at Eduardo Mondlane University.
I work with a wide variety of people as a cooperation officer, ranging from policy makers and private and NGOs organizations to academics and rural communities,” says Chamba. “As an AWARD Fellow, I want to improve my professional visibility and my leadership skills.
