Ms. Vinolia Pitris Pawar is a researcher working with the Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (ACECoR), where she supports research and outreach activities under the Food-Climate-Biodiversity (FCB) and Vulnerability to Viability (V2V) projects. Her responsibilities include data collection, stakeholder engagement, and policy brief development to enance coastal governance and resilience strategies. Pursuing a PhD in Integrated Coastal Zone Management at the University of Cape Coast, her research examines the impacts of illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing and climate change on biodiversity and food security in Ghana’s small-scale fisheries. Vinolia is committed to bridging science and policy and aspires to become a leading expert in coastal and marine resource management, advocating for climate-resilient livelihoods and biodiversity conservation in West Africa.
