Professor Stella Olusola Odebode is an Agricultural Extension and Rural Development Professor at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Her research focuses on gender and generational issues in agricultural extension, rural livelihoods, food security, and women’s empowerment, contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She has expertise in social impact assessment, gender inclusion, and policy development, including co-authoring the University of Ibadan’s Gender Equity and Sexual Harassment Policy. As an active OWSD member, she champions participatory approaches to equitable and sustainable rural development. Through her academic, research, and advisory roles, she is also a leading advocate for inclusive rural transformation in Africa and beyond.
