Dr. Rosemary Akolaa is a Lecturer at the University of Environment and Sustainable Development in Ghana, specializing in gender, climate-resilient development, and indigenous food systems. With a PhD in Endogenous Development and over 20 years of experience, she champions gender advocacy, policy reform, and community-led development. Her current work focuses on gender equality in climate-smart agriculture, nutrition, and local food governance, empowering women through entrepreneurship and indigenous knowledge. Rosemary aspires to be a leading policy advisor in gender and environmental governance in Africa, shaping inclusive, climate-resilient policies that elevate women’s leadership.
