Ms. Harriet Twongyeirwe is the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning Manager at Ruta Serenity Initiative, where she leads M&E efforts across sectors including livelihoods, gender, health, education, WASH, and climate change. Passionate about gender-responsive, data-driven programming, her research focuses on evidence-based policy advocacy to strengthen climate-smart agricultural policies for refugee farmers in Uganda. Ms. Twongyeirwe has championed initiatives like the Vegetable for All Project, improving nutrition and income for over 200 refugee teenage mothers. She uses participatory monitoring to ensure marginalized voices are heard. She aims to influence national agricultural and nutrition policies to serve vulnerable communities, especially refugee women better.
