professor Papa Madiallacké Diédhiou is a professor of Plant Pathology and Crop Protection at Université Gaston Berger de Saint-Louis in Senegal and a Dean in the Faculty of Agronomy and Food Science. He has trained several plant pathologists at the School of Agronomy (ENSA, Senegal) and the Université Gaston Berger (UGB) de Saint-Louis. He is an expert in pest risk analysis, the process of evaluating biological or other scientific and economic evidence to determine whether or not an organism is a pest, and whether or not it should be regulated. Prof. Diédhiou holds a PhD in plant pathology from the Friedrich-Wilhelm University of Bonn (Germany) and an MSc in crop science from University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar (Senegal). He has published over 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals and produced several additional research products. He trains in the science skills courses in AWARD.
