Ms. Joyce Mataya
Capacity Development Specialist, Mitsinje Development Consulting, Malawi
Ms. Joyce Mataya is a Capacity Development Specialist at Mitsinje Development Consulting. She has over 18 years of experience in the field of organizational development, having worked on a range of interventions for community-based organizations, local and international nonprofit-making organizations, government and private institutions. Her key competencies include organizational development, leadership training, governance, and board development training, coaching and mentoring, strategic planning and reviews, and team building. Ms. Mataya holds an MSc in Organizational Psychology from Unicaf University, a BSc in Agriculture, from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and a Certificate in managing NonProfit-Making Organizations, from the Open University, UK. She is also a Certified Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) trainer. Ms. Mataya is very passionate about facilitating interventions that contribute to organizational and individual effectiveness and brings to the ATEAM a solid foundation in facilitation skills, honed over years of conducting assignments across Africa and abroad.
