2025
Marthe Paulette Guedezoume Behanzin is a PhD candidate in Biometry at the University of Abomey-Calavi, where she develops machine learning models to predict soil fertility and nutrient dynamics using geospatial and remote sensing data. By integrating climatic, edaphic, and management variables, she aims to enhance soil fertility assessment and support sustainable land management in the face of climate change. Beyond her academic work, she leads community initiatives through the ONG ACADI-BENIN (Autonomisation des Communautés d'AFRIQUE), promoting women’s empowerment and youth engagement in sustainable agriculture. She also founded Agri Challenges, an agribusiness focused on plantain production and processing to strengthen food security in Benin.
