Fatou Sarr is a carbon markets analyst and consultant at Arc Holding, specializing in climate finance and carbon market mechanisms. She analyzes data on technology-based mitigation solutions to support emission reduction assessments and advise on carbon offset and removal projects. She also coordinates the Youth Capacity Building Academy on climate finance and carbon markets, leading training and awareness activities. Additionally, Fatou consults with international organizations, including Ceracarbono, to align tools and policies with the requirements of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. With prior research at RWTH Aachen, she has developed deep expertise in green hydrogen and e-methanol production, as well as sustainable pathways for Africa’s climate future.
