Ngwira Kamwana is an agronomist specializing in sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture. She focuses on climate-smart agriculture, sustainable intensification of mixed farming systems, and crop improvement for smallholder farmers. She coordinates crop-livestock integration trials to enhance productivity and resource efficiency while leading evaluations of legumes such as cowpea, lablab, pigeon pea, and soybean for climate adaptability, yield, and resilience.
