Mawuse Adzo Siabi is a researcher working on advancing sustainable livestock systems through innovative feed solutions. Her work focuses on Desmanthus, a drought-tolerant legume with high potential to improve animal nutrition, reduce dependence on costly imports, and enhance climate resilience. She investigates its nutritional value and suitability for poultry and small ruminants while promoting its role in soil fertility, biodiversity, and emissions reduction. Beyond research, she champions agribusiness opportunities around alternative feeds, empowering women and youth through training and market linkages.
